the cocoon women's center
The goal at M2 is to establish a brick & mortar location to be known as The Cocoon Women’s Center to house the programs & administration of Metamorphic Ministries, Inc. It will be a place of welcome; a place where we meet, build friendships, grow, have fun. It will be a place of compassion to catch tears & offer prayer & laughter. It will be a safe place that empowers, not enables; a place where those who are served will find protection; physical, emotional, & spiritual sustenance.
The Cocoon will offer the essentials & necessities of life, as best we can, when sisters are faced with unexpected circumstances. Within The Cocoon, women of all walks of life can be served not just through outreach programs but also through gathering groups, coffee talk time, leadership, mentoring programs, & so much more.
Like the butterfly, The Cocoon Women’s Center will represent a place of protection that will surround the women served, allow growth, & provide comfort & encouragement in a envelopment of love & compassion.
One of the strongest passions of this ministry is the belief that: NO WOMAN, MOTHER, OR CHILD SHOULD BE HUNGRY!
Jesus met the needs of the hungry people before teaching them.
(Matthew 15:29-31)
Therefore, The Garden of Bounty Food Pantry
will be The Lord's food pantry, to serve His daughters
(those never married, separated, divorced, widowed).
We will work with every fiber of being to make it happen,and in doing so will offer our part to end suffering and poverty within the communities we serve.
A program and referral process has been established to be put in place and will be
guided by need and the state eligibility requirements.

It has been shown that there is a decreased self esteem
often associated with not having clean or proper clothing
needed for school attendance, a job interview, or
even clothes for church.
It is a goal within M2 to establish My Sisters' Closet,
within the Cocoon Women's Center to aid in combatting
insecurity by providing a place for some free “retail therapy”. There is nothing like a new outfit to bring a smile and boost a woman’s self-esteem and build her confidence to begin anew in many areas of her life. Therefore, quality clothing and accessories will be offered at no cost.
Shopping is done in private, with care, one-on-one with a ministry volunteer.
Done by appointment - no drop ins - so that the women we serve can shop
with dignity and quiet. A private dressing room will be provided for privacy.
